You’ll find Surfer’s Paradise, one of Australia’s most famous beaches, and theme parks like DreamWorld  and  Warner Brothers Movie World here. With a hire car  you can go off the beaten track to visit the Gold Coast Hinterland with bustling towns, wildlife reserves and  Tamborine Mountain. As well as all this, the Gold Coast is a short drive from Brisbane and, in other direction, from beautiful and relaxed Byron Bay, Australia’s eastern most point and home to some fabulous, and more laid back, beaches and towns.
