Cairns is your entry to tropical far north Queensland. Hire a car in the city or at Cairns airport and begin exploring this natural wonderland of rainforests, beaches and islands. From Cairns you can dive the Great Barrier Reef or you can drive to Cape Tribulation and the Daintree rainforests. If lying on the beach is more your thing why not take your hire car up to Palm Cove. And just a few hours drive west from Cairns you can experience the outback.
