Hertz Corporation has appointed Chris Rusden as their Region Vice President & Managing Director of Australia and New Zealand. He will be overseeing a very important, long-term market for the Hertz Corporation, one which carries a vibrant mixture of business, replacement, and leisure rental operations. Mr. Rusden will also be in charge of over 240 rental depots and an expanding fleet of late model cars.

In addition to the aforementioned duties overseeing Hertz operations in Australia and New Zealand, Mr. Rusden will also be responsible for Hertz licensee rental business in the Pacific Islands as well as car sales in Australia.

Mr. Rusden began his career in tourism and travel with Hertz Australia and will keep an office in Melbourne after ten years of accomplished positions throughout Australia and New Zealand's tourism and automotive industries. His most recent title was General Manager with Assist Australia. Before that, Mr. Rusden filled the role of General Manager of Operations and Chief Executive Officer with THL Rentals and then Commercial Director of NRMA Motoring and Services.
