The contract between Avis Budget and Transfield Services, Ltd., has a term of one year and will provide janitorial services to over 2,000 Avis Budget sites across the United States.
The range of facilities management and maintenance that USM provides its clients includes such things as snow removal, landscaping, heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC), floor care, lighting, electrical, and general repair. USM has a client roster of well-known US companies such as Wal-Mart, Rite Aid Corporation, Bed Bath and Beyond, Target, The Sports Authority, and Regis Corporation.
Within Australia, Transfield confirmed that it has revised a commercial agreement with Western Power. The deal comes as part of the Future Grid Alliance with Western Power that is set to ensure engineering, field resources, as well as project management and supervision services to Western Power's network of distributors in the entire South West Interconnected System (SWIS). This system stretches from Kalbarri in the north to Kalgoorlie in the east and down to Albany in the south.
Transfield Services also boasts a client retention and satisfaction rate in excess of 95%.
